New Buildings Institute - Advanced Buildings™ Program
USGBC/GBCI-Approved for LEED Credential Maintenance!
Advanced Buildings is a locally sponsored national program and a tool for design teams wishing to create high performance, small to medium size, commercial buildings that stand out for their energy efficiency and healthy environments. The Advanced Buildings program offers extensive training and support materials covering best practices centered around cost effective, off-the-shelf, building technology.
The Core Performance program brings together over 30 criteria defining high performance in building envelope, lighting, HVAC, power systems and controls. Building design and construction professionals will gain access to quantitative and descriptive specifications for exceeding state and national energy standards such as ASHRAE 90.1-2004 by 20% to 30%. Many criteria comply with the Energy & Atmosphere points in the LEED® Rating System.
